Randy Pausch once said,
“Being successful doesn’t make you manage your time well. Managing your time well makes you successful.”
Twenty-four hours can help you build a better foundation to improve every area of your life. Everyone starts a new day with 1440 minutes or 24 hours. That’s more than enough to spend or invest for a better life and future IMHO.
Question from me, How are you using your 1440 mins daily?
If you don’t know what you want in the next 1440 minutes, you will spend it advancing someone else’s goals. Successful people I coach or know think about values, priorities, consistent habits and how they spend their most valuable resource - Time.
I read about The 1440 Rule several years ago and have been trying to use it as a reminder to think about time differently every day (still struggling but getting better at it). I believe that it is the most valuable currency (more important than $) in our lives (+ health) and we need to invest and use it wisely. Check out the link below or Google '1440 Rule'.
1440 is valuable — however, you decide to use it, remember to invest some of it for your future self. Think more about time. Do you freely give it away? 1440 can change your life if you experience it differently. I'm trying to and it's a mental model change.
“Wasted time means wasted lives.”
Robert R. Shannon said. Don’t waste the next 1440. Your success depends on it. Anyone who dares to waste one thousand four hundred and forty minutes of their life does not value time.
So how are you going to spend your 1440 mins today?
