or those of you who are familiar with Polarity Management, this will be a useful and insightful piece on leadership. Resonated much with this article and I'm constantly adjusting and learning as a leader because our context is constantly changing. As leaders, we need to be aware of what's happening around us AND what's going on within us as well. What I have learnt over time as a leader is, I need to keep working on how to be more 'extraordinary authentic' which means, having the ability to be myself even in the toughest situations. This requires me to be a leader who knows my stuff, but I also need to be able to admit when I don't know and ask for support and help from my leadership team. I need both confidence and vulnerability at the same time. I need to let go of the comfort of conviction as a leader and be more comfortable with doubt. And I know that I must share the responsibility as a leader and yet be responsible. Lots of paradoxes to manage in leadership and it's ok. We as leaders can learn to embrace both sides at the same time. If you're struggling, it's ok too. As leaders, we are placed in a leadership position not to BE RIGHT but to make it RIGHT. Embrace the 'Yoda Effect' as a leader - Unlearn what you have learnt you must! #leadershipStudent
