What is Mental Muscle Fitness?

Mental muscle fitness measures your positive mental muscles (Sage) versus the negative mental muscles (Saboteur).

  • Saboteurs react to challenges in ways that generate emotions such as stress, disappointment, self-doubt, regret, anger, shame, guilt, or worry.

  • Your Sage handles challenges through emotions like empathy, gratitude, curiosity, creativity, self-confidence, and calm, clear-headed, laser-focused action.

Mental muscle fitness provides us with a means to handle life's challenges with more ease, less stress, and more clarity.  Unfortunately,  80% of people score below the minimum level of mental fitness required for peak performance and happiness.  With recent breakthroughs in neuroscience and technology, you can significantly improve your mental fitness with six weeks of focused practice.

Jimmy's Self-Mastery Through Mental Fitness Coaching Programme was an insightful 8-week of sharpening my self-awareness, shifting my own narratives, and adopting new lenses towards recurrent issues. Here’s how it works:

  • Every Friday, you’ll get a 1-hour video lesson delivered to your inbox. Watch it between Friday and Monday to prepare for the coming week’s exercises and coaching session. The course is taught by Shirzad Chamine, the founder of Positive Intelligence.

  • You’ll have a 1-on-1 coaching session with Jimmy, the Empowering Coach either on Monday or Tuesday evening to talk about your Mental Fitness and Self Mastery practices. Jimmy will journey alongside you to the land of Self Mastery.

  • You will get to read the e-book Positive Intelligence by Shirzad Chamine during the programme's duration to deepen your learning.

  • Tuesday-Friday you will have four 2-minute app-guided practices throughout the day, plus reflections and PQ reps, for about 15 minutes total daily practice.

  • After the 8-week SMTMF programme, you will have 2 additional coaching sessions.

  • Why am I doing this?
    My life purpose is to sow seeds to help others to succeed and realise their full potential. I genuinely believe in an individual's wholeness, creativity and power. I know I have the skills and abilities to bring that out.   • What is the difference between a Coach and a Counsellor?
    A ‘life coach’ is someone who helps you see where you are today, then find ways to move forward towards your goals. They do not tell you what to do; they are a sounding board to help you discover what you want to do. In general, a ‘counsellor’ is someone who creates a safe and supportive space for you to explore who you are and what you want in life. They help you identify and solve problems. They are a support system to help you gain the strength and clarity to cope and to move forward at last. Coaching is action-orientated, vs counselling is coping orientated. Jimmy's Self-Mastery Through Mental Fitness  Coaching Programme has allowed me to better understand what is holding me back and what is driving me forward.
